The following new laws came into effect on 1 Sep 2008. .

 

Law 7C. To avoid the next player gaining useful information from the order of the cards, you are asked to shuffle the cards before placing them back in the folder.

 

9A. Any player, including dummy, may attempt to prevent another player from committing an irregularity, e.g. playing out of turn, etc.

 

20G. You are not allowed to ask a question solely for partner's benefit. Partner has to ask his own questions.

 

63B. Defenders may ask one another about possible revokes.
